On February 18th at 3:30 at Hamilton Library, there will be a special plenary session of the Russian Studies Workshop, “The Study of Russia from the Center of the Pacific,” by Professor Amir Khisamutdinov of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Professor Khisamutdinov’s talk will focus on the experience of the Russians in Hawaiʻi and the later development of Russian Studies at UH. There will be a catered reception following the talk.
